A major activity of the Muslim Women's Association of Washington D.C. is the Bazaar held annually on the Saturday before Mothers' Day at the Islamic Center of Washington, D.C
Q: How do I become a member of your association?
The Muslim Women's Association of Washington, DC welcomes women of all backgrounds who share its goals to apply for membership. Both Muslim and non-Muslim women make significant contributions to our organization. Membership on the Board of Directors is limited to Muslim women.
To apply for membership please download and fill out the application form. Follow the instructions on the form regarding where to send it along with your dues.

Q: What are the requirements for applying to your scholarship program?
The applicant must be a Muslim woman who plans to attend an institution of higher education in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The Muslim Women’s Association of Washington, D.C. likes its scholarship recipients to be involved in our activities. In order to do so she should be attending school in the local area.
Scholarships may be given for any level of academic education, from community college through post-graduate work.
Scholarships range in amount from approximately $2000 - $5000.
Please submit the following:
An applicant who successfully passes through the initial portions of the application process will be invited for a personal interview with members of the Board of Directors.
